Beau Ferguson
John Beau Ferguson was born on January 12, 2022. He was a perfectly healthy boy, but suddenly when it was time to push, he lost his heart rate. After 40 minutes of CPR, his heart started to beat again. He was then lifeflighted to a Riley’s Children Hospital in Indianapolis. We were able to be discharged from our local hospital and go be with Beau on January 14, 2022. After an MRI was performed on January 17, our doctors sat down with us and the grandparents and said the only brain function he had left was his seizures. That night, our pastor came to the hospital to baptize Beau. The next day, on January 18, the grandparents were able to meet and hold Beau, and then that night around 7:30, Beau went to be with Jesus. We are so thankful that we were able to make some memories with Beau and have him for six days. I have nothing but respect for the NICU nurses and staff that not only take care of our baby, but also our whole family.
